Dear Bloggie...

Ok I'm back...
Basically I haven't been updating for so long...
And it's due to my very busy schedule with band...
I'm loving SPband more and more in every practice...
Really looking forward in performing for concert in May...
So yea...
Let's go on with today's entry shall me...

Woke up at 6am to pray...
Went to bad after that...
Woke up again at 7am to get ready for school...
By the time I got ready, it was about 7.45am, and that was when I left my house...
Waited for a bus for about 10 mins...
Got to the MRT station by 5 mins...
And I was on the MRT train at 8am...
Faris sms-ed when I was on my way...
He reached school early...
I was late, not as usual, or should I say, cause I was very tired cause of yesterday band...
But even when I reached, nothing was happening...
So we all just waited and waited...
Was glad to see some of my classmates and some GYL campmates there too...
Pardon me as I've forgotten to tell you wadda hell am I doing in school for...
Actually I was in school with a group of people to rehearse for FOP...
The 07/08 FOP will be held on 9th & 10th of April...
On the 12th of April there's this President's Flag Day Challenge thing...
So on the 9th April(Monday) I'll be wearing smart, white shirt and black pants...
I got a feeling I'll be wearing that for the whole day...
Just see how it turns out to be...
I'll just bring spare clothes just in case...

So just now we planned on what games to play for the FOP...
And chosed which location we wanted for the Flag Day...
I chosed Kallang for two reasons...
Ok, make that THREE reasons...
First reason was that it's still in the east side and I can reach it by 30 mins...
Second reason is that City Hall has been taken up by some other people...
Thirdly, I have to rush to Tanjong Pagar after taking their attendance...
So that day will be one day where I'll be running like mad the whole morning...
I'll just see how things go from there...

Just now we played afew games...
I can't reveal them here cause if any year 1s come in my blog...
They would know what I'm talking about...
So won't be so fun anymore now would it?
Yup so I'll just end my blog here for today...


NOT!


I went for band after the FOP planning thingy...
NASband I mean...
When I came, I straight away talked to Maybeline...
Talked to her about her tone quality and how it needed more air support...
Then I talked to CaiYan about her playing too, and her tonguing and breathing...
The Brass section then proceeded to the Gallery but only to be shoo-ed away by drama club...
So we first went down to the canteen...
Then Johnathan insisted we go outside the canteen to play...
So we had our semi-combined sectionals there...
My conducting actually stinks when it came to Landmark Overture...
Maybe cause Johnathan and Hong Wei was there...
I'm just so glad that they came...
Hong Wei taught the Euphonium Section...
Johnathan taught the Bass parts...
And I taught the Trombone section...

So we had a brass combined minus the horns and the trumpets...
It was quite ok la...
Not too bad...
After that mini combined, we went back to the music room, to have the real combined...
The band sounded Terrific...
I was pleasently surprised by their playing seriously...
It was so nice...
But the ending as Mr Chua said, could be nicer if the tuba ended it with a resonant sound...
After band, Ms Ong told the band that she had made the band Barley Drinks...
I'm very touched by her actions...
And I'm proud that we have great band teachers, they are the best! =D
So after keeping their instruments, they got to drink the barley drink...
And it's called the, erm, should I reveal the name? Maybe next time.. =X
She made about at least 8 litres of barley drinks...
That's really alot, I really appreciate her efforts...
I had a drink, or should I say, MANY drinks... =X
At an attempt to finish everything..
But to no avail as what's left was like 4 litres of barley drink left...
I have no idea what she's gonna do with all that barley drink...
Most probably she'll keep it for later...

So I walked home with Shuhadah and Iffah...
Made Shuhadah run away from us by talking about Ugly Betty...
Then I talked to Iffah about downloading and stuff... =X
Shall not elaborate on that...
So now I'm at home, after a very very long day...

Fila has been very very kind to come up with a design for a new look for my blog...
I want to make it look as musical as possible...
Anyone wanna see how it looks like, can look at my MSN dp...
And Fila, I updated already cause I saw ur tag on my board... =X
