As I lay down on the wide field, staring at the dark starry sky...
I got mesmerised by the beauty of what could have been...
Shimmering and blinking innocently in the sky...
Thoughts running through my mind...
The bells starts playing through my head...
Synchronising with the blinking of the stars...
And nothing else mattered to me apart from that moment in time...
Oh, how peaceful it feels...

Calmness of the ocean gently weeping across continents in this big big world...
You'll never know where the waves will take you...
You're neither here nor there, but you know you belong...
It's always changing yet nothing seems new...
A gentle tremour shakes this fragile world...
Reminding us on how lucky we are...
For we are just floating on peaceful waters...
Peaceful...

Clearing my mind by thinking of happy thoughts...
In one dark corner, lingering behind the shadows, lies all the sadness...
How is one able to feel happy despite such sadness...
The light will outshine all the darkness, or so they thought it would...
But little do they know, all the hatred and sadness were gaining strength...
Day by day, night by night, ever so vigilent...
And without a warning, it strikes the heart, making it fall to it's knees...
Just when all hope was lost...
One must never only count on himself for the ray of light...
For there will always be people around him...
Giving support and advice...
Friends.
