what seems to be, is never what it really is

Dear Bloggie...

And I thought I've finally found you.

Hello all! =]
I'm currently drowning myself with violin music now, to be prepared for lessons later...
Let me talk about band exchange today...

I've got this habit of waking up earlier than my alarm, and it's irritating...
Bathed and stuff at around 7.30am...
Went to school at 8am...
When I arrived, some were already in the audi, some were still in band room...
I went to band room, set-up my eupho(which i regretted doing) and went to audi...
At the audi, it was very messy...
The sec 4s had to go prepare something, which left the others for me to conduct warm up...
And I thought when Ms Leong came in, she wanted to conduct, she told me to carry on...
So I conducted overture no 1 which sounded very empty?
Cause the band was partially there...
Then I conducted Monmouth, which, was a disaster...
I suck at conducting that song, totally...

Ok, then other schools started coming...
We were told to get off the stage...
All six schools occupied the audi which was packed to the brim...
There was a "drawing of lot" session to determine which school would go first...
So it was Tech Whye Sec first...
Their Eupho section is quite strong, was shocked at first, but I realised my senior from SP has been tutoring them, so I guess that's why they are good...
*Which just shows how sucky of a tutor I am...hur...*
The song they played was quite nice...
Next up was Queenstown sec...
And then  Woodlands Ring..
Followed by Dunearn who played a very nice choice piece...
Followed by Greenridge and lastly Ngee Ann...

I guess all the bands had their fair share of mistakes during the exchange...
The only two songs which I heard of before at the exchange was Monmouth and Heatherwood Portrait aka christmas song...
The conductor for teck whye has a very good expression...
Can show he's really those ON type of people like Mr Yeo...
Luckily the second round overture no 1 wasn't played, I was getting bored with that song...

In the end, the whole thing ended at around 1pm?
Then the schools boarded their busses and left...
While the rest of us packed up, stacked up chairs and some carried chairs all the way up to the band room...
Then everyone exchanged val's day gifts...
Which I took the time to take my leave...

Went to Century Square for treatment...
After that went home...

At home, practiced abit on my violin...
Practiced till my thumb got sore and stopped...

Goodness, next week is my exams and I haven't studied a single thing...
Go me! =]
And I got a feeling I'm gonna be so screwed...
The past year exam papers don't provide solutions to follow...
I am so dead, yay.
Hur.

I so can't wait for next thursday to end...
My graduation...
End of all stressful studies...
I'm so gonna borrow scores + dvds from esplanade regularly...
Speaking of which, I haven't returned my DVDs I borrowed recently...
Will do that during one of the days next week...
Oh, I might be staying at my sister's house in punggol for next week...
Which means no internet connection...
So I can concentrate on studying 100%...
Studying at home now is like trying to meditate in the middle of a battlefield...
Madness...
Gosh it's only 8.17pm...
My violin lessons start at 8.30pm...
I guess I should stop here...

Thanks for reading everyone! =]
I still want my Nokia 5800!!!! rawrs...
Ok that's all...
Take carez everyone!
Good nights and sweet dreamz! =]

*Tell me...please tell me it's true...*

Zupz Zupz!
