Dear Bloggie...

Ok 22nd March 2008!
Yesterday I went home late late late!
Went golfing at around 8pm...
Reached the driving range at 9.10pm...
Got ready at the most far end...
It was like super dark cause the lights were off..
So we decided to move in abit but still outside...
Just enough so that there's light to see what we were hitting...

My form was totally chaotic yesterday...
At one time I can hit the ball straight...
And at one time I can totally miss the ball like 5 times in a row?
Quite frustrating...
I lined up the shot properly, stood properly...
But when I execute the shot, it didn't connect well...

After golf, took cab with my friends back...
Alighted at one of the bus stop and we took our own buses home...
Bought Fillet oh Fish at mac using my points...

So that was yesterday night...

Today morning, woke up with a very aching back...
Must be from yesterday's golf swing swing...
Despite that...
I still woke up and went for band...
When I arrived, they were at the basketball court...
Everyone had their instruments and were standing in rows...
Caiyan had plans for them for sure...
The tubas had to get straps...

They played the Bb Major concert scale once and Caiyan let them off for 5 min break...
Can see that Mabeline was feeling abit dizzy...
She immediately looked for somewhere to sit down...
Under the hot sun and playing a big instrument...
Then after break, they played the same scale but the ww played first and the brass came in on the 3rd note...
Caiyan is experimenting on chords...
Around 9 there was break and most of the people sat on the stage...
Played my Rhapsody for euphonium and concert band...
Mabeline heard it... =X
I can't play well when sitting on the floor while playing...

Today the band got a new song to learn...
Blue Ridge Saga...
Another one of James Swearingen songs...
Taught the Bass people the song...
It's quite playable except for some rhythms...
Can see that Mabeline had some trouble concentrating today...

Had a chat with Caiyan about the bands' current condition...
Not to be revealed here, so sorry...

Bought zinger burger during the break...
Ate the fries and burger halfway cause during sectionals...
It was confusing who was conducting sectionals...
So I just stopped eating and just conducted sectionals...
Conducted silvercrest...
Of which near the end there were running notes...
And usually for brasses, running notes are like water in a desert(sp?)...
Which are quite rare at times, especially for tubas...
So I kept repeating and repeating that part until they almost got it..

After band ended, Caiyan made everyone run around the basketball court 6 times...
Of course there were some jokers who only did 5...
Then went to keep instruments...
The xylophone leg needed some repairs...
And obviously some screws were lost during the process..
Next sat Rebekah better remind me to bring screws...

Went home with Yihui! =X
She told me about her sec 1 junior...
And how his buzzing is quite airy...
I guess all they need is practice...

Wah I'm super tired now...
So I'll stop here for today!
