Dear Bloggie....

Hmmmmm.... I didn't update my blog yerterday u noe....
But the news is out even b4 I could type it out....
So yea... Hahakz... Another reason wy I didn't update....
Coz I was too happy liaoz... Hahakz....
After 6 months of hardwork and commitment....
After juz onli learning the tuba for 1 1/2 years....
My efforts and the band's efforts got paid off.....
Yesterday was the onli day that I was truely happy....
The days before that was so crappy, I kept losing hope...
Juz coz of HER.... WTF.....

Anywayz.... hahakz, u all heard, yes yes.....
NGEE ANN CONCERT BAND GOT GOLD!!!!!!!
Congratz to us manz!!! Woohoooo......
I mean... Let me juz briefly write down wat happend on d day.....
I woke up in d morning.... Woken up by sum mgz wishing me gd luck...
Den Bathed and all.... She pulled my confidence down sia...
Sheesh.. Anywayz... I got ready, wore my uniform smartly.....
And was off to school... Wen reached school....
Headed for the music room to put my bag and blazer....
And set up my tuba... After dat we were down for flag raising...
And after all that "bla bla bla" stuff.....
Mr Wong went up, 1st he said abt our malay dance who got Bronze...
Then after dat he told d whole school abt our syf.....
I was like "wah laoz, please, no more stress la!!!"
Hahakz.... Den morning assembly was over, went back to music room...

In the music room that morning.... It was filled with emotions manz...
We 1stly warmed up as usual... Played scales.....
Then after that we went thru the two pieces....
The 1st time round, the percs played Singapore Rhap like funeral...
As in the starting lah... Budden we played another time....
And dis time it was rawking... Hahakz....
After playing and all.... Mrs Chua gave us a speech.....
She really brought confidence to us......
She was more than just a conductor......
She was like the mother of our band.....
Without her guidance, determination, perserverance.....
And not to mention, the believe in our band.....

Then all d seniors all have their sorta short speech la....
Started with Sharrifah... She was the one hu's wif all d confidence...
Den Edelia spoke...... After dat came to serene......
She said these few words and caused me to cry too.....
"This may be the last time I'll have d chance to address the band...."
Den All d seniors broke into tears.....
Damn sad lohz.... Haiz...... And Samantha said quite alot too ar...
In the end it was my turn.... I'm onli OLD... hahakz...
I said la... I joined in sec 2... Like d juniors too....
And said that I couldn't sleep tinking about every single one of d band members...
Itz true ok! Haiz.... I rolled on my bed for 2 hours... Sheesh.. hahakz...
So after all the talking and sharing..... We went down for breakfast....
Mrs Chua said, "if u all dun have ur breakfast, better not go perform... Because cars need oil 2 move, pple need food to move to... no food, no energy...."
Den I had a burger from the canteen.. Was satisfied ar.....
Yeaz..... And Offffff we were to SCH... hahakz.....
Wen we reached SCH, got this band ar, the uniform look like us.....
Got alot of school's wearing RED blazers leh....
I noe we are Singaporeans la, Are we losing out on Originality here?

Anywayz, yea, reached SCH... Den Mrs Chua talked 2 us abit more...
We were feeling FIRST CLASS! Hahakz... Kewlz rite.. yea yea...
Den it was time to get into d tuning room... 10 Mins ONLY LEH!!!!
Wah laoz.. I was like, "We didn't even finish playing our choice piece!!!"
Grrrr... But we played quite well in d tuning room ar.. Lurve d acoustics...
After running thru 1 and a half piece of song....
We were out of d tuning room and out......
It was the interval and we had to wait ar....
While waiting.. My heart was like beating so fast!!!!
I had butterflies in my stomach manz.. Hahakz...
Sheesh...

And at long last..... The time came... We were told to go in....
I walked slowly.... Carrying that tuba of mine across d stage....
My breathe was getting harder, but I tried to control it.....
Since it was d start of d new half, we had to sit there like so long...
Then the judges slowly walk in.. The announcer say wat all.....
Only then dey intro d band....
And Mrs Chua came up.......

Damn she looked great.. Hahakz.....
We played our tuning note... Which was B flat.....
And that was all......
She rose up the podium.....
Get all our attention... And we started off Singapore Rhapsody....
I played my E Flat on time!!!! Hahakz.. So happy sia....
Anywayz.... The rest was juz great.... We played thru d song.....
It was juz great la Singapore Rhap....
Wen that was done... We played our choice piece...
Damn long la d name... U wanna noe, ask me urself kz....
Started off with a GREAT Horn Solo.......
And seriously, it was marvelous manz..... Owe credit to dem...
We progressed the song following the tempo.....
Mrs Chua was so relaxed.... I was so relaxed too....
Juz flowed with d music... Wahhhhh......
Oh yar!!! The "pick-a-note" part, Crescendo was TERRIFIC!
Omg!!! It was d nicest manz... I felt d crecs.....
So good!!! And soon after dat, it was over.....
We moved down the stage.... Of cuz I smiled.....
Cuz we did our best! yeaz! hahakz... So happy!!!!

Now I shall skip all d way to d results......
I went back to school at about 6pm.....
They said the results would be out by den ar....
Budden we wait n wait n wait....
From 5 mins to 15 to 50......
We waited and waited....
Then it was time.. No wait, the annoucer HAD to tank d judges 1st....
Sheesh... Den she tanked d audience.... And d long wait came to an end...
The announcer announced d 1st band........Bronze.....
2nd band.....Silver...
3rd....Silver...
4th...Silver.....
5th.....Silver....
6th.....Silver......
WAH LAOZ! 5 Silver oleady!!!!

Band number 7..(sembawang).......gold.......

ARGH!!!!!! One gold oleaddy!!!!

and finally.....

Band number 8.... Ngee Ann Concert Band..................

Hahakz...... Woohooo!!!!!! We rawk the house manz! yea yea.......

Okok, I'll end here for 2day.....
