Dear Bloggie...

Interesting days...

So woke up at around before 7am...
Bathed, drank milo and ironed my shirt...
Went to band at around 7.45am...
And at around 8am...
Conducted the band warm up...
Gosh alot of tuning problems...
Gah..
Nvm...
Then Ms Leong came...
She asked me to continue with the warm up...
Did Chromatic Low Tones...
And boy it was damn tiring conducting 4 counts all the time...

Then Mr Yeo came at around 8.30am...
He was like "eh the band sounds good today, you wanna conduct them later?"...
I immediately tio shock...
But my reaction was like "no no no no..."....
*ok mabeline just posted a challenge, she's ON man!*
Continuing the story...
He took the band and run through the songs...
I find it not too bad...
Then went on to the bus...
Woooo got to sit with Mab! =D
But her tuba fell cause of stupid bus driver...
*curses and swears bus driver here so mab feels good =D*
On the way to VCH, listened to some BSB songs...
*gentle reminder to self, buy blank DVD cd to burn BSB songs...*

Then reached VCH...
Had to wait at the holding area...
Talked to people...
Then it's time for them to go up...
Me, Ms Leong and the Sec 1s went to the audience sits...
Listened to one of the band play...
Then it was time for NASband to shine...
Their Silvercrest was...
Ok...
It wasn't that bad...
I really enjoyed it...
But I was hoping Mr Yeo would go even faster at the second time...
Then came Blue Ridge Saga...
The beginning was just, awesome...
Clarinets did a great great job with the tone quality...
Then the trumpet solo, it was just....amazing...
Yihui didn't screw up!!!! YAY!!!!
It was beautiful... =]
The Euphos were great too!!!
Overall I think it was a great performance...

Even though we got Silver for this NBC...
I hope we don't dampen the mood and throw in the towel...
Cause there's much much much much more to improve on...
Better songs to play...
And maybe one day, I can conduct the band during concerts or something...
Provided Mr Yeo allow it...

So that's NBC...
And we've got roughly 6 months to the next SYF...
That's 6 months of improving from where we are...
And not deproving anymore...
I really hope we won't take one step forward and take two steps back...
Even though we take one step at a time...
At least make it a forward movement towards improving... =]
My heart is with you NASband...
Lets improve, and make beautiful music...=]

My "bro's" birthday is tomorrow...

I know it's afew hours early...
But heck, you're a great friend...=]

So two more days to dooms day...
Well for me at least...
Cause I'm supposed to be ready for like, a prototype of my game by Monday..
I am so dead can... =X
Nvm...
At most, PON... =X
Say sick or something...
Then can postpone to like next week or something...
Apart from that...
Monday's gonna be an ordinary day...
